Middle Run Natural Area is a nature park located east of downtown Newark amidst residential neighborhoods and other park land. It borders and connects with two portions of White Clay Creek State Park. This route extends into the Possum Hill Area of White Clay Creek State Park make a wonderful, continuous loop through both forests and fields. The scenery is great and it creates an ideal retreat from the city. The terrain is varied with some gentle hills and some flat, flowing areas.
