This cruise takes you through two states and offers great views and wonderful views of the cities. The White Clay Bicycle Club makes a similar route and sometimes calls it the “breakfast” ride with the destination Jack and Helen’s Restaurant that serves really good breakfasts, sandwiches, and platters. You will ride on busy roads but they generally have wide shoulders. Some of the scenery includes a ride across the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, through the Canal National Wildlife Area, and a pretty loop through some thoroughbred horse farms.
