The Tri-Valley Trail is an easy to follow loop that begins and ends on Hopkins Road in White Clay Creek State Park, near the park’s nature center. The portion of the trail on the east side of the creek follows the path of the Pomeroy and Newark Railroad, which operated from 1873-1929. Most of the trail has a natural surface, but some sections have crushed stone. The scenery is gorgeous forest with great views of the tumbling creek.
