This is a great hike on the rolling hills of Delaware’s piedmont through meadows, old fields, and impressive woodlands. The terrain consists of gently rolling hills rising up from the valley and the landscape is a mixture of old fields, thickets of honeysuckle and blackberries, saplings, and stream-laced woodlands with wonderful groves of beech and tulip trees. The Whitetail Trail is marked with a a white arrow in a blue blaze. It is a wide grassy path and the scenery is wonderful and serene.
