This state park is situated just off the banks of the popular and scenic Blackwater River which is known for being one the purest sand-bottom rivers in the world. The river is a designated canoe trail and provides abundant opportunity for paddling, tubing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The campground offers 27 sites that can accommodate both tents and RVs (up to 50 feet in length at some sites). Amenities on site include full hookups, flush toilets, picnic tables, showers, fire pits, nature trails, and a boat ramp. The sites must be reserved at least a day in advance and cost $20 per night.
