Econfina Creek is a swift-flowing creek in northwest Florida that passes through rugged wilderness area and is known as one of the most beautiful and challenging paddling destinations in the entire state. This run covers the less challenging segment of the designated canoe trail between Walsingham Bridge and CR 388. The river is wider and spring-fed through this section with very clear water, a mild current, and fewer obstructions. The difficulty of the run does vary somewhat depending on water level so check current levels before setting out.
