Florence Marina is situated on the northern end of Lake Walter F. George, a 45,000-acre lake that is a popular destination for boating, water sports, fishing, and camping. The state park includes 15 cottage sites for overnight accommodations. The cottages include 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units that can accommodate up to 4-8 people depending on site selected. The cottages feature electricity, heating, A/C, furnishings, linens, full kitchens, bathrooms with showers, outside picnic tables, fire pits, and grills. Nightly rental cottage rates vary between $75-$150 per night. Reservations are available online and can be made up until the time of arrival. Pets are only allowed in two of the cottage rentals.
