This adventure begins in the beautiful Stephen Foster State Park, and then utilizes Floyd island canal to offer a beautiful south Georgia river run. Wildlife here is abundant, with a variety of water-birds including, Sand-hill cranes, herons, and warblers; other wildlife include alligator, deer, turkey and owl. If you are planning on camping in this area make sure to obtain a park pass before doing so. Also, be aware that there is a state park parking fee for this adventure.
