This paddling adventure ends at the historically rich Fort McCallister State Park. This is a destination that affords further adventures and exploration if time allows. Wildlife along the way include a variety of water and sea-birds. There are camping sites for a weekend adventure, or picnic tables for a short lunch break. Be aware that there is a state park parking fee at Form McCallister.
