Fort Mountain Lake has a nice beach, pedal and row boat rental, and good fishing; this is a great spot for a family adventure. Set in the beautiful Fort Mountain State Park in northeast Georgia, this lake offers great north Georgia mountain scenery. Be aware that fishing is not allowed from the boats, only from the shore.
