This adventure, although long and difficult, features the spectacular Lower Jacks River Falls, as well as a couple other smaller waterfalls. Lower Jacks River Falls is a powerful, cataract class waterfall, which plunges over 75 feet into Jacks River. Another notable waterfall on this hike is Rice Camp Creek Falls, which is significantly smaller at only 8 feet tall. Some of Georgia’s most remote wilderness is also displayed on this adventure while hiking atop Hickory Ridge. Be aware that there are many wet-feet stream crossings on this hike.
