Build in 1910 by the Central George Power Company, upon the completion of Lloyd Shoals Dam, Jackson Lake is one of the oldest reservoirs in Georgia. The banks of the lake are heavily wooded with a variety of hardwood trees. There are several islands on the reservoir, great places to have lunch and explore. This is a spectacular fishing lake with a variety of bass, catfish, crappy sunfish and bluegill.
