Lake Chehaw, formerly know as Lake Worth, is owned by the Georgia Power Company for the production of hydroelectric power. The power company has installed three boat ramps for the public to access the lake for paddling and fishing. Fish that are found in the lake include a variety of bass, catfish, bream and crappie. There are a number of islands on this lake that are great places to take a break and eat lunch, or just explore.
