Lake Oconee is a reservoir created in 1979 after the completion of the Wallace Dam on the Oconee River. It is a wonderful spot to take the family for all kinds of activities including camping, picknicking swimming, boating and some of the states best fishing. Fish that are found in the lake include Largemouth and Smallmouth bass, crappies and trout.
