In the southwest corner of Georgia, along its border with Florida, Lake Seminole offers an excellent place for boating, birding and fishing. The 37,500 acre, 300+ mile shoreline lake is maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The that are found in the lake include crappie, pickerel, catfish, Largemouth bass and Striped bass. Other wildlife that may be spotted in this area include alligators, snakes and a variety of waterfowl.
