Flowing through the heart of Atlanta this section of the Chattahoochee River offers a fast-moving urban river. This section of the River is protected by the federal government as part of the Chattahoochee National River, providing opportunities for hiking and picnic areas as well as the paddling. Be aware that there is a parking fee at the put-in and take-out spots.
