Phinizy Swamp Nature Park has wetlands, wildlife and woodlands full of cypress, loblolly and long-leaf pine trees. The scenery is spectacular with may bald cypress trees festooned in Spanish moss. Wildlife that may be seen on this trip may include frogs, toads, beavers, turtles, muskrat and a variety of snakes. The mountain biking trail utilizes an old dirt road that travels around the park, including its lake. Be aware that hunting and fishing are permitted in the park.
