The Tallapoosa River offers an easy paddle through wooded Piedmont valleys. The banks of the river are heavily wooded with sycamore, river birch and oak. The rock obstacles on this paddle are very navigable. This particular section of the Tallapoosa can be very narrow. Also, be aware that on occasion there will be a fallen tree that will force you to get out and go around it.
