The Van Michael Loop is just north of the Blankets Creek mountain biking trails, and offers a trail equally challenging and fun. There aren't a lot of technical spots on this route but it will offer an extreme cardiovascular challenge. The better part of the trail is smooth but you will come across many rocks and roots. As well, the trail is very twisty and up and down the whole way. Be aware that the trail is directional and it changes throughout the days of the week, so check with the park office.
