Stanley Lake is located in the beautiful Sawtooth Mountains near Highway 21 off Stanley Lake Road. It is a small but picturesque 170-acre lake that it situated below Mt. McGown. The area offers excellent recreation and numerous campgrounds including Inlet Campground, Lake View Campground, and Stanley Lake Campground. There is also a scenic overlook located next to Stanley Lake Campground, but you can also capture breathtaking views while paddling. Within the area there are boat ramps, hiking, free lake access, picnic areas, swimming, parking, vault toilets, and wildlife viewing.
