This tour explores the largest amish community in all of Illinois and one of the largest in the entire country. The Amish country mainly consists of peaceful and quiet farmlands and quaint Amish communities of small Amish-owned and operated businesses that are open to all the public. The terrain is mostly flat with only a few short sections along busy roads with wide shoulders making this a great option for riders of all skill levels. Do expect, however, to pass a few Amish travelers with their horse and buggy along the way.
