This lake located in woodland terrain offers lots of opportunity to enjoy beautiful wilderness and enjoy recreational activities including paddling on its calm waters. The lake's surrounding woodland, marshland, and farmland terrain is also home to abundant wildlife habitat. The lake prohibits gas-powered motors helping to keep the waters more peaceful. There is a free boat launch at the lake as well as picnic sites and campgrounds.
