This scenic area offers wooded rolling hills, a peaceful river, and lots of historical significance right in the middle of an urban area. The loop trail travels through a heavily wooded area where hikers will enjoy lots of shade, solitude, and wildlife that can be viewed from bird observation sites. The historic site also has a nature center, Native American museum, and picnic areas. There are multiple connecting trails within the loop that can be used to shorten the length of the hike.
