Borah Lake is one of three city-owned lakes located north of Olney that provides excellent opportunity for outdoor recreation including paddling along its scenic tree-lined shores. The lake is located just north of the larger East Fork Lake and is smaller and a little more remote. The City of Olney does require a city permit to boat on their lakes that can be obtained through city hall or at a local bait shop for just a minimal fee. The lake also offers good fishing, picnic areas, a beach and a playground.
