Buffalo Rock State Park Campground is in the ideal location. It is located directly on the north shore of the Illinois River which provides stunning views. Most campgrounds are located along the trail however, and have fire rings but no restroom facilities. Sites can only be accessed by walking or biking. The River Bluff Trail is the perfect place for a hike above the river and offers great views of the parks features.
