This small forest preserve located in DuPage County offers a variety of habitats and diverse terrain that are home to abundant wildlife and plantlife. The prairie and woodland terrain and multiple small ponds and lakes are home to some rare and state-endangered species that are protected within the preserve. The trails are a mix of paved and hard-pack dirt surfaces open to hiking and biking. The connector trail which heads north through the preserve can also connect to the popular Great Western multi-use trail.
