This forest preserve located in Addison is a restoration site of previous flooded housing development that has now been transformed back into the natural wetland area it once was. The forest preserve offers a variety of trails that can be used to explore the preserve on foot or bike. The trails also pass three small lakes in the preserve that are home to abundant wildlife and are nice fishing spots. The trails within the preserve also connect to the Salt Creek Greenway Trail system providing hikers with the option of adding additional mileage to their trip.
