The eastern section of Deer Grove Preserve provides hikers and bikers with additional scenic trails through areas of dense woodlands and marsh with multiple small ponds. The trails in this section of the preserve consist of a smooth paved trail and a dirt trail that both can be done as a complete loops from the parking areas. The trails can also connect to the the more well-known and well-used trails in the western part of the preserve across Quentin Road via a connector trail.
