Hikers will enjoy miles of trails in this pristine natural terrain that consists of lush river banks, dense woodlands, and prairie restoration areas home of abundant wildlife. This double loop hike utilizes multiple hiking and equestrian trails within the preserve to explore a large portion of the preserve. There are multiple side trails and connecting trails that allow hikers to customize a hike of a longer or shorter distance if desired. The area is pretty undeveloped but does offer a few picnic tables and restrooms. The trails are popular for horseback riding so watch out for others along the trails.
