Owned by the city of Olney, this lake is the largest of the three city-owned lakes that offers opportunity for outdoor recreational including canoeing and kayaking on its waters. The lake has lots of side coves and channels that are great for exploring and getting some solitude while on the lake. The lake is surrounded by rural farmland, residential development, and tree-lined shores. There is a permit required to paddle on the lake that can be obtained through the city hall or a local bait shop for a minimal fee.
