The lake trail follows the shores of the lake through dense forests and small beaches that provides great views of the lake and surrounding landscape. The area also provides lots of opportunity for viewing wildlife and diverse vegetation. The lake does not allow boating or swimming making it a peaceful and quiet place to visit and spend time. The lake is located within a state park that offers camping, picnicing, and lots of other hiking trails.
