Located just south of Wilmot Mountain and north of the Chain O' Lakes State Park, This small preserve offers trails that travel along some of the highest elevation in all of Lake County where hikers will enjoy good views of the Fox River below. Hikers are allowed on the trail but bikes are only allowed on paved roads in the preserve. There is no designated parking for the preserve trails but limited parking is available along busy Wilmot Road so be cautious and park wisely.
