Hazlet State Park Campground is the largest campground in the Illinois state park system and is located on the largest manmade lake in Illinois. It is located just 3 miles north of Carlyle and is a beautiful place to stay. Tons of different wildlife species can be seen in the area as well as lush vegetation. There is youth camping available that includes drinking water, picnic shelters, and more. Aside from that there are amazing lakefront cottages available as well that offer amazing views of the lake and have tons of luxurious amenities. A boat launch and swimming pool are also available on site.
