Hennepin Canal Parkway State Park Campground is a very peaceful place and has lots of great activities available such as hiking, fishing, picnicking, boating, canoeing, and more. There are Class C and Youth Group Camping all throughout the area. Hiking here is very beautiful, especially in the fall. There is a total of 155 miles of an animal trail that can be used as well as a 4.5 mile trek in the mail complex which is moderately difficult.
