This state park is located on the shores of Lake Michigan and offers excellent trails that provide great views of the lake and surrounding landscape. This loop trail leads hikers through a nature preserve area where lots of wildlife can be seen. The trail connects to the other multi-use trails in the state park providing visitors with lots of trip options. Bikes and dogs are not allowed on the hiking trail within the nature preserve. Other activities at the park include picnicing, camping, and swimming at the beaches.
