This preserve, once the site of a limestone quarry, now serves as a conservation area that protects a variety of diverse habitats that are home to abundant wildlife and plantlife. This short loop hike follows a natural surface trail through the woodland and wetland area where hikers of all skill levels can enjoy viewing nature and spotting wildlife. There are other connecting trails in the vicinity that can be used to explore the area further.
