This trail offers lots of diverse scenery and terrain as it follows the path of the river past scenic wildlife-filled shores, a wildlife museum, the Melvin Price Dam, and some major industrial development. There are some great views of the river and the Lewis and Clark Bridge as well as lots of opportunity to view a wide variety of birdlife that are part of the river habitat. There are other connecting bike paths along the route that provide riders with even more riding options. The trail can be done as an out-and-back trip or a shorter one-way trip by shuttling vehicles between the access points and trailheads along the way.
