Located in Mallard Lake Forest Preserve, this scenic lake surrounded by wetlands and woodlands offers excellent solitude and opportunity for enjoying nature and wildlife viewing. The lake is only open to non gas-powered boats and a permit for the preserve is required to launch creating calm and peaceful waters for paddling. The lake also offers excellent fishing, picnicing, and hiking on multiple trails within the preserve.
