Nippersink Creek is a small winding river located in northern Illinois that travels through lots of diverse terrain including wetlands, marshlands, pastures, wooded terrain, and even some urban areas. Water levels in the river can be low, especially during the summer, making paddling not possible or a little bit more difficult due to obstructions. When water levels are sufficient the river is a fun paddle that offers some nice riffles and a steady current. There are multiple access points for the river that are easily accessible making shorter or more customized trips on the river possible.
