Riders will enjoy lots of great scenery on this ride as they travel along a shoreline trail near the Mississippi River and up through Pere Marquette State Park. The first part of the route follows the Vadalabene Great River Road trail which follows the shoreline of the river for many miles. The ride after that follows roads through dense forest and rural farmlands in and around the State Park. The ride has a couple ups and downs and small rolling hills over river bluffs but is mostly flat as it follows along the river. Sections of the river trail are very close to the SR 100 so be very cautious and watch for traffic along these sections.
