Pistakee Lake is part of the Chain O'Lakes waterway system that includes 15 lakes that are all connected by the Fox River. Pistakee Lake is large and is popular for all types of water recreation including kayaking and canoeing. There are multiple boat access sites that can be used to access the lake but some charge a small launching fee. Pistakee Lake has lots of side coves and channels that can provide some solitude and calmer waters for exploring and fishing. There are lots of sailboats and motorboats on the lake so be cautious and watch out for other boat traffic.
