This section of the the Prairie Trail follows the old railroad bed from the town of Ringwood up to the Wisconsin border. This section is packed gravel trail that is best suited for mountain bikes and hiking making it a little less used than the remainder of the Prairie Trail that is paved and is also used for road biking. The trail has multiple points where it can be accessed and can be done as a one-way trip or round trip depending on how much mileage you want to cover. The trail is flat and easy to follow making it a good option for riders of all skill levels.
