Formerly known as the North Shore Bike Path, this trail located in northeastern Illinois is a great option for riders of all skill levels who are looking to explore North Chicago and nearby communities. The trail is crushed rock with a few sections of pavement and sidewalk and is multi-use so watch out for walkers and joggers along the way. The trail passes through mostly residential areas with multiple parks and access points along the way as well as multiple connecting trail systems making it easy to customize a trip of any distance.
