This route provides lots of diverse scenery as it passes through small towns, past historic sites, through shaded forests and a large prairie, with some short sections alongside some small creeks and a scenic river. The ride follows mostly gently rolling terrain with just a few short climbs along the way. There are some sections of busy road as well as a few short sections of dirt road on the route that will require paying a little closer attention.
