Hadley Valley Forest Preserve is part of the Spring Creek preservation system and offers just under 700 acres of diverse terrain including wetlands, savannas, and woodlands. Much of the trail also runs aside Spring Creek. The out-and-back lollipop trail showcases much of the terrain and wildlife of the area and offers a nice paved trail perfect biking, hiking, horseback riding, and snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter. There are multiple access points to the Spring Creek Trail allowing for a shorter trip or a one-way trip by shutting vehicles.
