This segment of the Spring Creek Trail travels through forest and savanna habitat that is home to a variety of plant species and wildlife, including over 100 bird species. The trail passes by multiple ponds and small lakes that are used for fishing as well as sections of Spring Creek. The trail is crushed limestone and can be used for hiking, biking, horseback riding and snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter.
