Located in Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve, this small loop follows a mowed grass/dirt trail through native woodlands and prairies that are home to abundant wildlife. As opposed to the main loop trail in the preserve, this shorter loop trail is only open to hikers, joggers, and cross-country skiers. The area offers excellent birdwatching opportunity and lots of solitude and peace in the middle of the suburban area of Naperville. The trail can connect to the main loop just to the west that is a crushed limestone 5-1/2 mile loop.
