Thomson Causeway Campground is a very unique place to camp. It is located on the western edge of the Mississippi River and offers a rare view of the Mississippi River Basin. The campground is actually on an island which offers great fishing opportunities as well as hiking, biking, and boating. Available to visitors are 125 reservable campsites, only 5 of which do not have electric hookups and are for tents only. Sites can cost anywhere from $14-$25 per night.
