Completing a loop around the natural area, this short hike travels through upland and lowland forests, prairies, wetlands, and around two small lakes, all of which is home to abundant plantlife and wildlife. The loop trail consists of both paved and dirt trail surface with some smaller footpaths that leave the main trail for further exploration of the area. The trails are open to pedestrian traffic only. The trails are open daily from dusk to dawn and are free of charge. The nature center is also free to visit but is only open select hours so call ahead if you are wanting to tour the nature center.
