This paved loop trail leads visitors through diverse terrain of prairie, wetland, and around a large lake just north of the DuPage River. The area provides lots of opportunity for wildlife viewing, especially a variety of waterfowl. There is also an additional non-paved trail for hikers only that leads off of the main loop to the west for those wanting to spend a little more time in the preserve. The preserve also offers picnic areas, fishing, and boating on the lake.
